This week Jennings stood with fellow citizens to protest against fracking and oil pipelines in Broome County (read his full statement below). Thank you to Citizen Action and Frack Action for organizing this important demonstration to allow us to show our support for New York's citizens by protecting its natural resources.
Mr. Terrell also attended a Meet & Greet at Tabernacle Church, to introduce himself to members of the community and share a few points about why he is running in District One. Thank you to Indivisible Binghamton for organizing the event!

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON PIPELINE AND FRACKING PROPOSALS:
"The people of Broome County will not be manipulated by big oil companies and the federal government into polluting our water, destroying our forests, and giving our children cancer. The federal government has allowed large projects, like the army depot, to be put up in our communities before, and those projects have ended in tragedy for us and massive trouble for our county. Don't be deceived, a pipeline will not make your gas cheaper and fracking will not bring any good jobs into our community. They'll underpay workers, slash and burn our beautiful backyards, sell the products overseas or downstate, and then leave us high and dry to suffer in the mess they leave behind. Broome County: stand together, and stand strong. We can and will keep these projects from moving forward." -Jennings Terrell for Legislature, Broome County District One
